hi folks,
just want to check where to buy a return board from a reputable brand and seller. I know there's a TSP one from tt11 ($200+), very good brand and seller, just a little pricy. And then there are a lot of random unknown sellers on amazon and aliexpress, which feels like buying a lottery ticket. It there something in between from a reasonably known brand but with a lower price (with shipping to US considered). Thanks

I bought the yuanclllp board from Amazon last summer and am very happy with it. It's well made, sturdy and should last for a while. It cost less than half the price of the market leader (Wally) at around $130.
Seth Pech from the excellent PechPong channel uses the same board, as can be seen on this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pRFnGw2lqIM&t=670s
Note that the board does have some kind of smell, so I keep it outside on my patio. I also wish it came with a cover to make it easier to store. Edited by oldttguy - 01/24/2023 at 9:04pm |

If I want to go cheapo, I will cut a piece of plywood from home depot, slap slap cheapo rubbers on it and attach it to a musical sheet stand.
Example: -musical sheet stand: https://www.amazon.com/Kasonic-Professional-Collapsible-Instrumental-Performance/dp/B07D5KK26W/ Note that in the 5th picture, the accessory to which the board is fixed can swivel 90 degrees and of course the board is fixed at the back. $18 + tax = $20 -plywood board: that 2'x'4 sheet of plywood https://www.homedepot.com/p/Handprint-7-16-in-x-2-ft-x-4-ft-Oriented-Strand-Board-15114/203408991 $5.45 + tax = $6 -rubbers: 8x Mercury II (lasts forever) https://www.aliexpress.us/item/2255800391526266.html $51.75 incl savings, shipping and tax. Total: $78 with the most inexpensive parts and we have a lot of work ahead towards the final product, probably more than the $50+ difference, depending how much we pay ourselves to do it. Conclusion? It is extremely hard to beat Oldttguy's suggestion! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Edited by stiltt - 01/24/2023 at 10:19pm |

Thank you stiltt! Also as a variant I would recommend https://www.aliexpress.us/item/3256804319356961.html?spm=a2g0o.order_list.order_list_main.11.21ef1802g5YpZP&gatewayAdapt=glo2usa&_randl_shipto=US It's non ittf approved tensor sponge hybrid rubbers. Good both for Return Board and for my training paddles (I am using it for Yinhe series - t1s, t2s, t8s and for BT Mazunov). But smell is pretty bad actually. Lasts long - no need to boost. And one more thing - it's better to have both hybrid and some cheap chinese rubbers for RB - because different need of different bounce for different excercises and I would start with hybrid for 9$ for pair (it's red+black)

I just ordered this one, much cheaper than the Wally one, also smaller and looks to be a bit more mobile. I should get it next week,

Tried to do such an RB with this receipt :) With one instrument keeper- does not work cause turns-rolls-over, but with two works pretty fine.
