    Posted: 12/13/2005 at 1:10am

Dear all,

Anyone used chinese brand "Hai Fu" speed glue before? How does it compared to other glue like Energy? I am thinking of buying this to glue my H3 since it is much more cheaper. Advise?

Cheers,

Should be better than the Energy for the Hurricane 3. After all it does say "suitable for hard sponge" on the bottle.

Hai Fu works really really good, especially on hard chinese rubbers. A lot of players used it when I was in China.

Chun,

Yes, I bought it in OCM. It's only half the costs of Energy.

As to the ban, which site can confirm this and why?

i also bought one...don't like it very much....also the can is different from Haifu i saw in the internet.  Performance wise = same as my "home-made-speedglue" which is rubber cement + solvent.

refer to this site http://www.ittf.com/ittf_equipment/pdf/Glues.pdf

You'll have to get someone in China to get it for you, but a sheet of Hurricane III and a bottle of Haifu only cost me $20 AUD.

I ve using one now. I bought it from OCM but later I notice in the can that stated the shelf life something like 2 years and mine was manufacture in year 2000.

The glue is quite thick but not much of speed glue effect compared to Stiga Energy. Maybe mine already expired. Only advantage is cheaper compare to Stiga Energy.

There is new version of HAIFU speedglue (non toxic) which is as thin as stiga energy and it lasts 2-3 days.

It costs about 15aud  for 1 litre but when it shipped it costs another 15aud for insurance... :-)

But then it is still cheaper than stiga or butterfly or tibhar speed glue.
