 hi all this my first post.

can anyone verify that some players apply a layer of gasoline on their chinese rubber surface when not in use.

Technically, it's not legal. Some players add a lot of weird stuff to speed glue. Lighter fluid is supposed to make rubber play incredibly fast. I wouldn't recommend it though if you want your rubber to last longer than 3 weeks.

One of my club member apply this gasoline to the rubber surface and the spin is awesome. and now the rubber become more tackier than the original good for service and defensive shot like chopping the ball in the table.

If U use a lot ofcourse that will destroy you rubber (not bouncie) Just use a few drops and wipe it with cloth and rinse it with clean water..

I guess someone forgot to mention to these players that gasoline contains known carcinogens
