well I could. But I am using a yasaka soft carbon and I am kind of happy with but would like a stiffer feeling for improved blocking. So I figure if I could pick up a used yasaka carbon to experiment, that would be great.

When you block with your soft carbon blade is it more of a catch block? What about when you punch block?
