hey guys, 1st post!

i have been playing for about a year now, and am now learning how to play with long pips(ox). i have a few blades i was thinking about putting them on and was wondering what the norm is for these.  the three blades are
1.donic epox all-around
2.dawei 1 ply hinoki
3.dawei crystal carbon

i have only hit them with the 1 ply so far and its not too bad. just wondering what most LP players prefer for the blade. decent speed with good touch, fast with touch, or really fast with hardly any feel?? any help would be appreciated. thanks
ben

Depends on the player. Some choppers like the ball to come off the racket fast so they will use hard blades. Same with LP blockers/hitters.

Some like to keep the ball on the racket longer for reversal purposes, they will use a slow flexible blade with a lot of control.

Really depends on what you like. Head size is also an issue- as choppers like larger head sizes. Not necessarily the case for LP blockers and hitters though.

Have to disagree with Beeray here,

the best reversal is given by hard blades, where the ball comes of them very quick. If you use LP OX, then I'm going to assume you are a close to the table blocker rather then a chopper and in that case, you would want a blade with hard outer layers to increase the reversal.

As far as speed goes, the faster blade you can handle, the better, but this still is mostly about control, so make sure that you feel comfortable controlling your set up instead of going for more speed.
The holy grail
