As i remember correctly Boll lost to Maze in a german league game in 2005 ( right after winning world cup ). I was physically there.
So the commentator must be wrong saying he never lost to Maze.

| It depends on where a country finished at the previous championships, not who they have on the roster this year. In 2008 Kreanga didn't play and they were relegated to the second division. This year they managed to move up to first division (for next year, that is). It works the same for world championships. |

Maybe, maybe not. He still has to win the matches along the way. I personally think he's too much of a head case to get through without self-destructing. I don't have a favorite player. But the matches have been very interesting so far. ------------- What if there were no hypothetical questions? |

He got injured at the first game of his first match (I am not sure in which part of his body). He tried to play, but after the second game, he gave up. i noticed zoltan drinking a coke during his 1 minute break, is it generally "bad" to drink soft drink?or those energy drinks versus water?

ZDF is going to show the men's doubles final 20 minutes from now, Boll/Suss-Blasczyk/Wang. Both on TV and online. Then men's singles quarterfinals (noon Eastern). Eurosport should also broadcast starting around 1pm Eastern. |

yes, ZDF is a bit TOO focused on German players... Schlager-Samsonov is on ettutv.com. Maybe also Eurosport. ooh, Schlager's paddle is damaged, the umpire forced him to go to his backup at 1-0 in the first. |
