I use Wave Drive 4 and used Cross Match Plio before.

WD4 is the best TT shoe I've used in more than 15 years in this sport. I allways asked why most of pro players use these shoes, now I know.

I recomend to buy here: http://shop.ilpp.idv.tw/index.php?language=en - http://shop.ilpp.idv.tw/index.php?language=en

I gotta say, I'm a bit skeptical (no offense intended). The only Mizunos I've seen cost nearly $100. How is it that these are half that?

Well, my previous Mizunos was really expensive beacuse they where bought in Japan.

When I saw this website I was a little worried too, despite all good reviews I saw at MyTT. When my shoes arrived I'm 100% sure about their legitimacy.

You can't forget Mizuno TT shoes are made in China, so they are cheaper over there.

I recomend to everyone now.

Mizuno shoes from Iruiru also were made from China as well. Just don't know why the price is different.

Yes, all Mizuno TT shoes are made in China.

In Europe they sell them (wave drive 4) for 60 euros (88 us dollars)

In China is around 40-50 us dollars

In Japan  is around 7000 yenes (80 us dollars)

It's weird also with Stiga products. They are more expensive in Sweden even being a swedish brand.

Yeah, I bought a pair a while ago. Still wear them now. They are 28.5cm. I kinda had to cram my feet into them before, but they've stretched a bit and fit fine now. I'm just worried that if I buy a new pair of a different style then the leather will be too stiff or something and I won't be able to make them fit. Then I'll have wasted 40-60 dollars.

Don't mind me. I'm just b*tching. Big%20smile

Are these shoes comfortable for those with flat feet?

did you see eastbay.com.
http://www.eastbay.com/shoes/category - http://www.eastbay.com/shoes/category

take a look at the volleyball shoes. prices when on sale are pretty good.
http://www.eastbay.com/searchresults/keyword:volleyball+shoes/?cm=54406 - http://www.eastbay.com/searchresults/keyword:volleyball+shoes/?cm=54406

question: do you agree that a pair of volleyball shoes is very close to what a table tennis player expects from a pair of tt shoes?

that would be my pick:
http://www.eastbay.com/product/model:93519/sku:01190090/Mizuno%20Wave%20Tornado%203%20-%20Mens?supercat=home&cm=GLOBAL%20SEARCH%3A%20KEYWORD%20SEARCH - http://www.eastbay.com/product/model:93519/sku:01190090/Mizuno%20Wave%20Tornado%203%20-%20Men%27s?supercat=home&cm=GLOBAL%20SEARCH%3A%20KEYWORD%20SEARCH

I am somehow afraid of those:

Nope. Volleyball shoes have higher heels for better support when jumping. Therefore, volleyball shoes are a little heavier. Volleyball shoes and basketball shoes could be the same.
Badminton shoes would be better fit for table tennis shoes.

OK I have plantar pb on my left foot because once I had to run for a short ball when I was mid distance. I landed on my left heel. I almost always feel the pb now (10 months later). especially in the morning. It takes a few minutes to be ok and feel no pain at all but it's always there anyway.
With volley ball shoes it would not have happened.
But I get your point about the height and weight. Also in favor of your argument one can say because of more lateral moves the risk to torn an ankle is bigger with higher heels.
