Couldn't agree more! Anyway not sure what ESN stands for but it's a German company that produces rubbers for brands like Donic, Andro and Joola hence why some people say that certain Tensor rubbers are the same just wiht a different company logo on the rubber sheet.

What are some of the main ones they produce? What do you mean by "true tensors"? It seems like ESN is some imaginary place, just seems like a lot of speculation, are we completely sure of any rubbers they make?

ESN Elastomer
GmbH
Industriestr. 17
D-97461 Hofheim i.U.
GERMANY
They even have an address!
As a headsup - most rubber and sponge manufacturing is *not* done by the Table Tennis companies. Rather, many TT Companies contract with companies like ESN to PRODUCE rubber and sponge to their specifications - like Donic, with the Formula Series and now Barracuda, Joola with the original Air Rosnet and later with the Energy and Express series, Andro with the Plasma series and now Hexer, etc. etc.
Some companies have SOME manufacturing in house (BTY) but even then they outsource manufacturing for some products (for example BTY, Donic and others sell "made in China" blades for $60-$140)...
Does that help?

You could look it up
An acronym is a word made up of the first letters of other words. See above for examples.

. Bump and up are universal across all internet forums and is not related to table tennis. Posting bump or up is usually done by the OP (opening poster) to raise his original post to the top of the list of posts after it doesn't get any replies for an extended period of time. This is done in an attempt for it to get attention instead of being buried under all the other posts.

Some can still guess from context, others google, but still have many weird terms...

Somebody might want to investigate this guy as a spammer. He's putting up posts with hidden links:
After spending the last three years in a pair of Hi-Tec Squash shoes - a decent tack, but a bit difficult - now I'm ready to treat myself with a pair of matching table tennis shoes. I'm going to go to Mizuno, and I'm trying to choose between the Wave 5 and the Wave 7… |
I've been using Mizuno Wave drives for a few years now. They are just starting to wear out.I actually came across them by accident. I just went to a local sports shoe store and bought the best, lightest indoor court shoe that I could afford at the time. And they were the Mizuno Wave. They might even be the first version. |
Apart from the contradictory statements, there are links to something called jonsguide.
