Hi all,
Does anybody know anything about this blade? I guess this one was the one that Nittaku made for WLQ before DHS took over to build Hurricane King.

Thanks, I'm thinking about buying this one. It's cheaper and hopefully, it's the same structure, even though the wood quality is not as good as the King.

I have this balde with a straight handle that I got it from a friend on the Waseda University men's team in Japan. It's a good blade, but from what I've read about the DHS Hurricane King, it will probably not be the same (the wood construction is different). I have never tried the DHS HK or the popular newer version 655. So I cannot compare them, but I have and I am currently using a Avalox P500 blade. I like the P500 I have better, it's around 20 years old and from the chinese national team, and has excellent feel, the Nittaku Wang Liqin I have feels less solid, to me. I am wondering if the original HK is more similar to the older version P500, the P500 is just slower because the plies are not as thick. Does anyone know?
