The Men Doubles Champion at the US Open, or one of them at least. was using this blade. Does anyone now about the construction or where to purchase one?

Most of shops here in Japan bring this blade.
This is the blade construction that i translate from Japanese.

Its a nicely priced blade. Made in China. 6.4mm not too thick for a seven ply. If you are on a budget, and like OFF wood blades, worth a try. Otherwise there's better blades to buy. I tried an ST version a while back. I liked it ok, but as I recall the ST handle was sort of thin. -------------

Because most people regard TSP as a pips rubber master more than anything. Most people would be surprised to learn that it is actually the oldest brand in the entire table tennis industry. It is just that TSP is, among the Japanese brands, one of the most humble when it comes to global marketing. Mizuno is in the same boat as well. | Both have Limba as outer ply and the rest is ayous (Swat 7 ply / Swat 5 5 ply). But some of the plies are "smoked", hence the name SWAT (smoked wood tech) |
