Hello, The Hallmark Panther is a medium pips rubber suitable for offensive blades. It is not a rubber very know. I supose that Dr Nebauer is most bestseller. Hallmark said of Hallmark Panther the follow values for sponge thinkness of 0X, 1mm, 1.5mm and 2mm: * Speed: 66 / 71 / 76 / 81 * Control: 94 / 92 / 90 / 88 * Hardness: 43°-45° * Disruptive effect: 81  Mi review is for thinkness of 2mm. This rubber is very functional. - Principally, Panhter is for hitting, hitting, hitting!!! - Too you can chops but is not effective but is easy of execute. - The block is easy and works as long pips rubber. - The hitting works as short pips, for that the hit will be effective you must that hit to ball forcefully and plane. - The sponge and pips are hard with 1.3mm of lenght and her alignment is horizontal, so you can do spins and flips small top. If you hitting then the opponent returning the ball then have difficulties to give back the ball offensively. Panther is not as a rubber with disruptive effect very high but is fast and heavy enough for the opponent to have difficulties A pro that used the Hallmark Panther 2mm in promotional videos was the british Carl Prean. |

My friend just bought a sheet of this in 1.5mm and I had a chance to hit some with it so here are my impressions. It's medium fast rubber that acts more like short pips than medium pips. Blocks, chops, hits are pretty easy as this rubber has fairly good control. My friend bought this hoping that it would have some deception, but it disappointed on that front as it played pretty much like SP. The blocks will may provide a little sinking action, but nothing nearly as strange as other medium pips. So if you're looking for something that has deception keep looking.
