Based on tabletennisdb.com, Xiom Omega 2 Asian is the fastest. Never tried it though.

There are several high speed rubbers on the market. Nianmor, Bryce Speed, Calibra LT, Varities, Xiom Omega 2 Asian, Tibar 1Q, BTY D-13 LOL, ( speed glued with monkey snot).....speed is nothing without control and technique!

I find the blades produce more hitting speed than the rubbers. A fast rubber on a slow blade is slow, but a slow rubber on a fast blade is still pretty quick.

i think i have to disagree with this.

dhs memo3 on bty sardius still felt slow despite sardius being really fast

but stiga calibra lt plus on tibhar rapid carbon (a much slower blade) was very fast plus very controllable

the throw of the ball with sardius was too straight (despite having memo3) so it was harder for me to land my shots on the table. i did not have problems like that with slower blades

Fastest to break?

Fastest to lose tuning?

Fastest to tune?

Fastest to glue?

Fastest to cut?

Fastest to get used to?

Fastest to get you to hate it?

Fastest to get you to like it?

I can keep going.

There are a lot of fast rubbers out there, but their other characteristics, such as hardness, weight, spin, and others are what differentiate them.

A fast rubber on a slow/medium blade is a dream and gives the variation and touch that many players overlook in search of easy power.
