received this blade from ttnpp today (10 days from ordering until it was in my hands, for those wondering)

here are some pics right out of the box:

well, before taking the picture I did remove a little plastic covering over the individual foil stickers spelling out "HUARUITE" on the end of the handle. and then after I took this picture I took them off. I should also add that I somewhat straightened the "H" before taking the photo. Okay, enough about the funny stickers.

the blade weighs 90.0 grams. I have the first coat of poly drying on it now.

more to follow...

Is it me or does the blade look thicker than the 5.6mm that the EB V is supposed to be?

good eye, you're absolutely right

before i applied the poly i did some quick measurement with a digital caliper and it was well over 6mm. i'll post more on that and the size of the head later

Nice wood texture on the top layers. A high quality clone.

I have flared versions of hrt ebenholz 5 and rosewood 5. they are both around 85 grams and thickness is almost identical. I haven't measured the thickness of them, but they are probably right around 6.0 mm if not a little less.

very good build quality (seems higher quality finishing than stiga, and more on par with donic blades)
can't go wrong for $25 a piece.

a couple more notes, the head size is 159x150mm. thickness is a little inconsistent, ranging from around 6.1 in some spots to 6.23 in others

when i took the blade out of the package, delivered during a humid day in Missouri, it weighed 90.0 grams. I put on two coats of poly and left it overnight near my dehumidifier downstairs, which showed the humidity to be at 42 percent in the room. This morning the blade weighed 89.5

okay, just spent some time vs the robot with HRT Wujilong (black) on the fh and Kokutaku 868 on the bh

this blade is good... i like it better than mc-2. similar speed, but nicer sound and feel

great deal at $25

Are the HRT flared handles more like a Stiga Legend or a Stiga Master?

Can you please compare the HRT  Huaruite EBENHOLZ NCT V handle with stiga master or legend. Which one is it more closer to. I have an stiga offensive classic (master FL) which i did not like that much. Also are these blades ITTF approved

I emailed TTNPP today and Jim told me that the Huarite flared handles are "a bit close to master".  So there you have it.  (I got the reply about 30 seconds after I sent the email, so he must have been online right at that moment).

ITTF does not approve blades.

Baal might chime in on the handle question

Blades are not ITTF approved... blades just have to meet guidelines... but aren't submitted for approval like rubbers are.

handle is slightly larger than a master but not as flared out on bottom as a legend. very comfortable handle. a huge plus is that it isn't rough finished and doesn't really require sanding like the stiga's

well I got the HRT Ebenholz NCT V cpen today. While it was more uniform around the blade in thickness (6.3mm), it has some strange scuffs/scratches on the surface.

Anyway, poly is drying on it now... I'll start a different thread for it with pictures and relevant data

how did the ebony played Vs the rosewood? thank you.

Is ebony the same as Ebenholz?

Comparing Stiga Rosewood V to Stiga Ebenholz V, Rosewood has a harder feel. Ebenholz V has better dwell time.

In terms of comparison between HRT Ebenholz V and Stiga Ebenholz V, see here.

How many people agree with this claim? I thought ebenholz was harder.
