It's a TSP hyper carbon. I've been trying to find one for 10 years, very rare and hard to find

Made in Belgium? Must be quite a while ago since TSP made blades there.

Wow.  Sometimes you can just tell by looking when a blade is going to have a good feel!

I actually have a TSP hyper carbon, a little over 20 years old, kinda beat up around the edges. It has the grip, sanded at the top by TSP, for a natural feel.
The blade above does not look like mine.

Its identical to the carbon TSP have a close look for a carbon layer, they were great blades (as far as carbon blades go). I'd like to know if the belgian factory that produced them still exist's. They were higher quality even than Tsp's Japanese blades. These were made in the early-mid 90s

hi, guys !
Thank u, everyone...

When I met my friend I will take a closer look... this is not soon... only in the very beginning of November... but he says he thinks the blade's speed from 01 to 10 is about 6 so it is not probable that it has carbon in it... I think...

I see, I can't remember if my hyper carbon had the red line in the handle or not. They must have had a limba 5 ply in the same range

This might be a possibility, TSP Rithim, couldn't find a picture on the internet.

At a speed of 7 and weight of 72 gms it might be too slow and too light to be a possibility.

Other blades from that time period would be  Super Blade (5 ply Fast, 79 gms), Accu-Speed (Fast 5 ply 81 gm, Powermax (Fast 5 ply 78 gm).

All the pictures of I could find of the Super Blade have a different handle, but I think I remember the earlier models looking like this.

it is not a hyper carbon blade, nor offensive carbon, nor allaround carbon, yet it is a belgium made blade trying to copy a 5 ply offensive classic type of a blade...it is basically a 5 ply all+ to off blade depending on the weight...

I'll be glad if some member from Belgium with enough high passion for the old blades just try to find more info about these old beauties made in Belgium 20 years ago. I have one of them with my favorite AN handle sanded for the fingers and definitely for right hand, as the logo/lens is available only from the one side. It is 5 ply TSP Power OFFENSIVE 151/156 6.0mm and 86 grams.

sorry, i had a brand new one and traded it away about 3 months ago;  they are from the late 80s nice blades...they range from Off- to Off in speed depending on the weight and thickness.

Well, may be I have a wrong info, a colleague said these blades are produced around 1994 in Belgium in very limited quantity....
The blade I have is definitely OFF, but could be OFF+ with enough fast rubbers. It is 86 grams, 156/151 and 6.0mm thickness.

you are right some production was made later, the one you show especially, since it does not seem to have the foil in between the layers, the foil appeared in the german production... they have some made in Germany and Belgium as well I thought their production was 1988-1995, i had made in both places but sold or traded all of them.

Then ...we all are familiar now the blades TSP made in Belgium and Germany during the 80's and 90's were high quality weapons, but what was the reason for stopping the production there?

I think all of these sanded for the fingers TSP blades could be well priced today if it is available on the market here and not only...

Hi!
Can anyone please tell me how to attach photos? I bought a TSP Carbon Offensive blade few weeks ago from Germany. It looks different from the ones post in this topic and I don't know nothing about it. I hope I find someone who know something about this blade.
Thank you!

Hi emihet,
Thank you for answering.
I'm not a specialist, I'm an occasional player so i'm not quite familiar with this terms. But anything you can tell me about the blade, with normal words if possible, it will help me to discover it.
The Blade costs me 45Euro. Is it a fair price? Is it worth to spend for new rubbers? I suppose the old ones are not good any more.
Now I have a Donic Burn Corbotox with some Donic rubbers.
Thank you again!

It is a good blade and the wood should be nice and dry, 45 euros is a good price especially if the blade was brand new when you purchased it.  If the blade is in good shape it is worth to put new rubbers on it, i recommend medium hardness sponge on FH and medium soft on the bh...there is no true substitute for aged wood...

I bought the blade few weeks ago. It wasn't new, you can see the condition in the photos. Does not seem to look bad at all.
Thank you for your advice.
