probably overboosted. You shd let it rest longer perhaps.

Booster wears off with time so at some point, it will become playable again.

boosting makes the rubber more mushy. I recently tried a couple of tenergies boosted with Haifu Seamoon. It depends on how much it feels very mushy is not good but a bit mushy that's normal.

Educate me-why would anyone boost a new tensor or tenergy rubber? I understand why for chinese rubber or an older, "dead" sheet.

With the introduction of the new plastic ball I feel there is a need for boosting to compensate for the reduction of spin and speed.

The guy from club that I did it for him, gave me the rubber (uncut) and his booster (excactly as yours).I applied one layer with booster (the amount that the brush had on it and one more sinking of the brush) and I let to dry for 24 hours. The guy asked me that he wants his rubber fully boosted, so after 24 hours passed I put one more layer (the amount that had the brush and one more sinking in the bottle) and I let it to dry 24 hours again. After this I glued it and applied the rubber onto the blade.Nothing strange happened to me my friend. The rubber was excellent!

I used similar method like yours, but my aurus became mushy. I am not sure why.

The few times I've overboosted the rubber doesn't get mushy, it gets too fast to control pushes. If I let it sit a few days then it's back to normal. This is with Seamoon, never tried Falco. Iskandar

I glued this aurus on last monday and it was mushy. My next hit of ping pong will be this coming monday. I will let you know the situation next monday or tuesday. I probably need to rest the rubber a bit more. cheers.

Exciting topic. The same thing with my rasant grip and powersponge rubbers that concerns me. That is to say I've applied some layers of booster and they are felt too mushy to my taste. I do hope they will become a bit harder tomorrow, won't they?

I have let it rested for 1 week and it still felt mushy yesterday. maybe I need to wait another couple of weeks for the oil to totally evapoated.
Maybe european rubbers are not suitable for boosting and I need to use chinese rubbers like huricanne 2, 3 or yinhe moon and mars instead.

If you boost it with the 2 layer and within 2 days you put the rubber on how do you get the doom down? Unless your rubber don't doom?

All my rubbers have formed huge dome after boosting so far at least for a week. I have been forced to apply a booster layer a day for three or four days on the rubbers in order to make them flat again. This procedure works fine. By the way my Rasant rubbers have reached their optimum level of hardness after boosting. It makes me presume that boosted rubbers need some rest at least for a few days. So do not rush and take your time.

I do understand it takes a few days before the doom becomes flat , that's why I ask how the above guys how they put on the 1-2 layer and glue on the rubber within the 1st few days

yes, I did rest the aurus for 1 week before glueing it on the blade. The rubber Still felt mushy after the one week “ resting ” period.
