I believe the Joola Flash is just a relabeled XuShaofa seamless ball so they should play similarly to other seamless balls.  Megaspin sells them.

GMan is right.  Just another seamless ball.  If you want to train for this event, any seamless ball will do.  You can use search function using terms seamless or XSF to find lots of detailed comments dating  back to around 2014.  Lots has been written.

Like all seamless balls, it is a little heavier than NP40+ or D40+, plays a little slower, bounces slightly higher, arcs a bit more in flight, and is a little bit softer.  Seamless balls are usually fairly round but occasional eggs exist.  Not bad at all.  I personally prefer the ABS balls but it is a question of taste and familiarity.  Joola Flash is far better than crappy cellulose acetate 40+ balls, like the original Joola 40+.

It is a perfectly reasonable choice of ball.

There is a misunderstanding concerning Flash.

I played side-by-side with Flash and Xushaofa.  They are different balls that play distinctly enough to justify training with the specific ball for the tournament.  Essentially, Flash is a lighter ball; you can hold the two balls up to the light and see the greater translucence with Flash.  It seems the Xushaofa plays with a harder feeling also.

From the anecdotal, Flash is receiving mixed reviews, less appreciated than Xushaofa.

Depends on the date of manufacture.  More recent seamless balls have been a bit lighter than before.  They were right up at the edge of what ITTF allowed at 2.76 grams when they first out.  But of course, I don't disagree that the safest approach is to train with the balls you will use in your next tournament.
