I have used mainly joola, xushoaofa, butterfly and Tibhar balls

I find the differences can be massive having a vast impact on how I play.

personally I can hardly get 5 balls in a row on in a practice with Tibhar or butterfly

joola seem the most stable and I also think they are spinnier than other makes.

Funny, the Nittaku balls I bought lasted longer than the rest. I haven't gone broke either.
Im happy to see the more and more PPL at the club are using them and I see less xushaofa balls (awful!)

I am personally happy to play with either the Nittaku Premium or the D40+

Plastic with seam. Used on ITTF Seamaster World Tour, but with an additional Seamaster brand (easier to see spin, actually). Also (probably) used in Malaysia last week, but without the DHS brand. DHS factory will produce many  of the ABS-balls with other brands.

I've been tried the Nittaku 2 stars, I thought it was pretty good but expensive.

We use a lot of Kingnik balls at our club and they seem to work well.  I also like Nexy and Yinhe.

I was warming up at the Nationals with a Nexy ball before the start of a match.  We started the match not realizing we were still using a Nexy ball.  My opponent noticed it at the end of the match when he handed me the ball.

I agree.  There is more to say.  For instance, I'd also mention the Nittaku 40+ 2* balls as a perfectly good option.  Still a bit pricey at around $2 a ball, but nonetheless cheaper than the 3* balls.

And yet there is even more to say as D40+ 3* can be bought for about 75cents per ball. And, you know, 3 stars.

the new sanwei abs and stiga balls are very good. they are with seam but they feel close to nexy balls but cheaper.

Sanwei balls come in that fancy Silver lettering boxes right ? I REALLY liked those Seam balls! But a lot of club players and office players totally hated it. So I am keeping them in the box LOL still fresh Big smile and I won't use them until I meet a really really amazing TT player LOL when I will re-open the box and use them LOL
