That Gergely looks different, wondering if its non carbon version.

But even non carbon version early 70's handle didn't look like that.

Not even sure name is spelled correctly?

Anybody Know

No, my old one had around 157x152 mm headsize. I don't know the sizes of the new ones.

I used to play with Patrick Chila. What a great blade it was...with the old celluloid balls!Cry

But I am more interested in TT in Papua, New Guinea. TTSpirit, what is the tt scene like there?  Is it a popular sport?  What is the standard like?  Really curious.  Cheers!

Btw, I thought the headsize of the P. Chila was a bit smaller than others but perhaps it was only bc it was so light that i thought this. Thick balsa with soft outer plies. I broke more than one by accident but still went back to it as it was cheap and cheerful!

What happened to Banda as a brand? Were they bought by a bigger company?

I think Banda was acquired (or restarted as a sub-brand) by Stiga.   https://www.ttex.se/banda-by-stiga-allround.html" rel="nofollow - https://www.ttex.se/banda-by-stiga-allround.html

That's quite the opposite. Banda acquired Stiga table tennis branch in 84 (I think) and kept Stiga name which was more famous at that time.
