Where is the rackets starting position in the backswing, when should I hit the ball for different spins (at its peak, a bit after its peak, etc.), contact point on racket, and how to use wrist?
thanks, I'm a tennis player who wants to compete in nctta but I have this weird two-handed backhand thing

If you struggle with your backhand, the first thing you usually want to learn is consistency. I would suggest that you start with hitting with just your underarm and get the feeling of brushing the ball. (Focusing on the wrist too early when trying to develop a good backhand loop usually takes away the focus from using your underarm, so I usually tend to wait a little bit before I start focusing on the wrist in the backhand loop)

Aka, relax your wrist, don’t drop your elbow too much and focus on brushing the ball. Also, try to adjust the height where you hit the ball with your feet, not with moving your arm up and down.

1) side of racket touches the left side of your pelvic bone (if right handed)
2) from that position use *only* your elbow as a rotation axis.
3) go through the ball at the top of the bounce
4) bh topspin!

You can improve with wrist but leave that for later.
For now make sure *nothing* is moving other than your elbow. Not the shoulder, not your body etc.

Two reasonable videos:

Each of these channels had more on BH. For Coach Guo, his videos with English captions begin at 12.3 if I remember correctly.

what about the contact point on the racket?

Just played a friend who is a close to the table style and I had a lot of trouble with my backhand because I didn't have enough time like in the videos.  What should I do to get topspin with little motion? Especially with long (low) pushes into my backhand

If it is long and the ball falls past the table, you can try looping it as in the video. You should have plenty of time if it is a push. You may be too close to the table or you may have to practice preparation.

Otherwise:

Watch players or videos to observe different tactics. I like overnight Samsonov and Waldner, but there are many others.

What is a good ready stance that can switch fh bh easily?

Best near the top of the racket if you want more spin and less forward power because the tip is moving faster than the middle. But don't mind it too much.

Mind planting your feet and body firmly in place (not moving it backwards as the ball comes!) and the elbow rotation without rotating any other joint.
Contact point on the ball also leave for later. That's why the racket travels in an arc. So that wherever it hits the ball it hits it at the right angle.

Just lower the racket so it touches under the side of your pelvic bone (later you can be a bit more loose with that or go other places like under your balls for potentially more spin), rotate the elbow only (forward), hit the ball at the top of its bounce.

I think based on your longer post that it's more likely that if you're having trouble switching bh/fh fast enough it's a problem with not tracking the ball intently enough rather than not moving fast enough.

That said look at Liu Shiwen for example, when she hits the ball she ends her stroke at what is essentially her "ready stance".
