I won't know till tomorrow. Bouncing a ball off the blade it has the same pitch as my Butterfly Koto/ALC blades. The V14 Pro is slightly thicker .

If plays smillar like TB ALC, then this is great investiment for TT low budget players. I will recommend this blade to my club mattes.

It's good, plays better than my Viscaria, but I switched to MJ SZLC which feels better to me (subjective)

V14 pro is a top notch blade

Blade is very good. Save yourself $100-150 and buy this blade before a Butterfly ALC if you want to check out Koto/ALC. Blade feels slightly more flexible/softer than Butterfly but with the same speed

Just ordered one.

Saw you have listed your Kenta ALC for sale. Is V14 pro that good?Tongue

The one I have feels nearly identical to my Kenta. I am going to order another one so it will be interesting to see how much of a difference there is blade to blade. Depending on someones game or what they like V14 Pro might be better or worse than one of the Bfly ALC blades.

Those V14 Pro look so tempting. I am absolutely convinced in the quality/craftsmanship.Sweet price as well....what bothers me is the weight

Had the older version and used it over a year. Very similar to boll alc blade but less control. V14 plays a little faster. Boll ALC has a little more flex and feedback which I preferred.

This is indeed a remarkable blade.  I took the rubbers (T05 and T64) off my Viscaria and stuck them on this, and I'd be hard-pushed to tell the difference, despite the fact that the Viscaria is 85g and the Yinhe 95g.  But they are so well balanced that the actual weight is not the issue.  I have 3 other Viscaria clones and this is easily the best.

The pro version has supposedly better QC, better wood selection, better construction, care etc.  I don't have the other version, so can't really tell.  But this one is superbly made.

Having said that, my play suits the DHS H301 more, but I am happy to use this if needed.

The handle size of the V40 Pro is identical in size to the handle of the W6.

officially both blades are 92g +/- 3g, so in theory anywhere between 89 and 95g.

I have weight 92g for both.

Is the top layer as thick as TB ALC?
Looks a bit thin, just like most of Yinhe blades..

Thanks

I was just thinking since the V14 Pro is a little thicker than Viscaria if it's really a HL 1 copy minus the dyed Koto.

Just got mine today. Haven't glued rubbers to test yet.

My observation,

1. quality: excellent. Honestly, I didn't expect Yinhe can produce an ALC blade with such high quality. Almost as good as BTY TB ALC and Viscaria.

2. top layer: Koto, a little thinner than Viscaria, probably thinner than TB ALC as well (don't have a TB ALC at hand).

3. core layer: Kiri,a little thicker than Viscaria. It makes the blade a little thicker than Viscaria (6.0~6.1mm vs 5.8mm)

4. handle: comfortable, close to TB ALC and Viscaria, a little longer than Viscaria (maybe 1mm).

5. bounce ball test: close to a Viscaria, maybe a little faster. Would say it's closer to TB ALC and TBS.

Peeled rubbers off my old Viscaria and glued them to thew new V14 pro. Hit against robot for about 20 mins. Overall, the blade feels good. A little faster & crispier than Viscaria. The handle is noticeably longer & larger. The blade is also a lot head heavier than a Viscaria (maybe due to its thickness or hollow handle? ). My blade is 90g but feels heavier than my 93g old Viscaria. It's more a clone of TB ALC than a Viscaria.

Worth the money? YES
Will it replace my Viscaria? NO
