Hi everyone, I've got a Nittaku Violin, 81 grams, with box for sale or trade. The blade is in very good condition, no dings, just a few glue residue marks. Hoping for 85 pounds, but also open to having a look at any trades or part exchanges for blades, sealed rubbers or anything else table tennis related. BUMP. Question: I would have thought this blade would sell fairly quickly considering the high RRP and the good condition this one is in. Should I lower the price a bit more or will someone come along and take it for 80 pounds eventually? |

Since you asked, I will throw my 2 cents You are selling it for 80 gbp, which is about 89 eur (excluding shipping and paypal fees I guess) I will use TT11 as reference, since it is a worldwide famous store and ships to everywhere. Violin costs 136.95 eur, but you automatically gets 10% off and free shipping (over 80 eur), so final price is 126.26 eur Considering this alone, I think your price is ok. But the 'problem' is that it is very easy to get higher discounts on TT11. Imagine the situations below : 1) If a person also wants to buy two new rubbers to make a complete setup, he will most likely get 20% off (over 200 eur), so Violin price would be 109.56 eur (shipping included) 2) if he spend more than 300 eur (buying together with a friend, or more than one blade, spare rubbers, etc), price falls to 95.87 eur only (shipping included) 3) a person can wait it to appear on weekly specials, that could bring price down to -25% -> 102.71 eur (shipping included) 4) many people complain about FL handle being too small on regular violin. Maybe LG handle sounds more appealing to possible buyers (just guessing...) Considering all that, I think your price is ok. Not expensive, but also not very appealing to a patient buyer.
