Customwr blade makers will make any head size you want. I had an american hinoki wrc 9 that was something like 133 * 127. I played the same level with it as a srock blade, and the light weight really helped me heal a shoulder injury.

Shout out to Blades by charlie, he does very good work.  His 'attack' shape is 157x149 but kinda feels smaller.

He also has Attack Junior which is 152x142

BBC's 1 ply cypress is 155x148mm, the Ghost Hinoki is 155x147mm. Both of my Darker S90s and Miyabi are 155x150mm.

I sanded down a Cpen blade to Jpen shape and it is quite small now, an still plays great. It was already a hard and very fast blade so it still has a lot of power. I don't play very far from the table anyway.

I have several C-pen made to order, size 148x156 from Soulspin, OSP Palatinus, Ross Leidy and the last one from Nittaku (not yet shipped) to get lighter weight. I think smaller size makes the blade stiffer.

You are right. A smaller blade is definitely stiffer than a similar blade with larger proportions. The blade I sanded down has lots of power but still great at blocks because of the stiffness, provided the angle is correct. Not great for looping but it works for that as well.

I would think the sweetspot also shrinks as we sand the blade head down.

at some point the sweet spot stops shrinking, otherwise the mini rackets would have a sweet spot of size zero.
in reality, the sweet spot of mini rackets seems to occupy the whole racket.
