A friend wants rubbers replace, and is currently using Sriver G2-FX. It's hard to get here, because it simply does not seem to sell, so I'm looking for something similar that I can suggest for him.
He's not nearby, so I can't try his bat, so I'm hoping someone here has tried this rubber and can perhaps suggest something similar (from ANY brand)?
Is it's a 'glue effect' rubber, or more of a traditional rubber like Sriver?
Thanks guys!

I’ve used Sriver G2 and G3 both regular and FX versions.  None of them are speed glue effect rubbers.  However, they are clearly much faster and spinnier than regular Sriver.

If your friend wants a direct replacement for G2 FX, I recommend Roundell regular.  Roundell Hard for G2 non-FX.  I would have recommended Nittaku Renanos Soft but that is discontinued.  With the speed of G2 FX, I think a move to Fastarc S-1, T64 FX, or T 80 FX would be fine.  All available at OOAKT Smile

if i may add, i think T80 FX is a good replacement for G2 FX. If the speed or price is an issue, I feel like any of the 'base' tensors are good enough as well since they as well as Sriver are designed with that in mind. Rakza 7/soft, Fastarc G1, Vega Pro/Europe.

I played with G2 FX many years ago and switched over to Vega Europe. It had better speed and spin.
