A good podcast by Matthew Syed (the top ranked player in England for nearly 10 years, WR25 in 1998) about the reaction in table tennis, what it takes to be a good player and success/failure by Royal Institution:  https://www.podbean.com/media/share/dir-3mjfe-636beab" rel="nofollow - https://www.podbean.com/media/share/dir-3mjfe-636beab

Thanks for posting!

Excellent speech that goes way beyond table tennis. It discusses the need for questioning minds in our social and political institutions as well as within ourselves. He says we need to acknowledge what works, what does not work, and what caused failure so that processes and institutions can be improved, rather than refusing to acknowledge failure through arrogance and/or the desire to protect one's reputation (or to avoid litigation) (he compares and contrasts the aviation and medical fields to illustrate some of his points).

BTW, the URL u posted did not work. I used this one:  https://www.podbean.com/media/share/dir-3mjfe-636beab" rel="nofollow - https://www.podbean.com/media/share/dir-3mjfe-636beab

I'm glad you liked it. It's a very good podcast and I've liked it too.

You are right, the link I posted does not work, but it looks identical to yours LOL. Don't know why, but it ads some gibberish at the end of URL when you click it. Maybe someone with better understanding could explain that happening?

Thank you for sharing a good link!

There's a space at the end of the address when you typed it. That's what that gibberish at the end represents. If you delete the space (or remake it without the space at the end), it'll work fine!

Looks like an interesting podcast. I'll check it out later!

that's strange. I edited the post but I could not find a space after the URL. I've place the cursor at the end of my post and it sat right at the end of url and if I press a delete, I'd delete the last letter... anyways I've reposted the whole URL and now it seems that it works

Yes, that's a good podcast. Write your impressions!
