How "Low" is your low?
For me, anything from/between $100 - $150 USD is ok/low/affordable enough.
There are alotta cheapies/crxps made by you-know-which country.
To me, those are copycats/fakes & just waste of $$$$ to buy/play with.
You will regret it at the end of the day.
There are in fact alotta these shxts which shipping cost is more than its cost.

$150 for a blade become hard for me to justify. I've played with nearly every blade imaginable at every price-point. The higher-end blades are trendy (easier to re-sel) and usually have a better quality finish, but for my game the difference between a $30 and $300 blade is a small % in performance. I can make a much bigger difference in technique and strategy.

FYI...EBay has truckload of these cheapies, 20 something bucks each...
Good luck.

TZ! Its your RPBing Jpen friend.

Do you want 1-ply hinoki feel or just whatever?

If you can find a TSP SP-55 S that's the way to go for cheap 1-ply hinoki. Played just about as well as my $200 Special Dynam 10.0 for <$65. I think they're discontinued now.

I really, really liked the Yinhe 989 Jpen (~$30) I had. It's 5-ply mystery wood, ready for RPB, but it felt and played great, though nothing like hinoki.

There is also this 7-ply option:   https://www.tabletennisstore.us/p-659-tsp-sleek-1-japanese-penhold-all-table-tennis-blade.aspx" rel="nofollow - https://www.tabletennisstore.us/p-659-tsp-sleek-1-japanese-penhold-all-table-tennis-blade.aspx

Thanks!! I really never played well with Hinoki. I want to like it, but it doesn't like me. I don't mind plies. I'll check out Yinhe 989. Maybe Cole has it.
