Hi all,

I've tried stretching my Dignics 09C when gluing it onto the blade and I've got some observations:

The rubber feels softer (less weight per 1cm3), bouncier, faster, less dwell time, less spin, lower throw. It felt like slightly boosted Dignics 05, a bit unimpressive when trying to go through the opponents spin and somewhat reminding me of Tenergy 05.

Have you tried stretching the rubber when gluing it on? Is it recommendable?

I would not recommend it because
1. it's very hard to get consistent tension across the whole surface, and if it's not consistent, the ball will come off differently depending on where (on the rubber surface) you hit it.
2. the tension will pull the rubber away from the edges, so it may come loose over time around the edge of the blade.

and when it does come loose (not if, but when) it will be impossible to glue it back unless you boost it heavily.

Laziness is mother of all inventions, indeed.
