Should former champions get free entry invitations into US Closed & US Open ? Should they be allowed to play in 3 events for free > singles, doubles & mixed doubles in their age group or below ? That is if a player is 43 , then can play in O-40 S, D & XD or O-30 S, D & XD or Open S, D & XD etc or any combination thereof such as Open S, O-30 MD & O-40 XD etc I bet they cannot resist playing in more events as paid entries  Well may be they all are already invited secretly  To me this more appealing than the fake regiional qualifications, which noone seems to bother in many states  |
