Whatever scale they're using to translate the Butterfly hardness rating to ESN is way off

Comparing to the Rasanter series, the Rozena in their words would have a sponge close to the R47 and the Glayzer closer to a R50.

Do you mean that the Rozena is closer to the R42 while the Glayzer goes along the R47?

I stopped reading after that.

Butterfly rates Rozena as 35, Tenergy as 36, and Glayzer at 38. The sponge hardness rating and the feeling of the rubber can always differ, but I think a loose rule of thumb is to add roughly 10 degrees to Butterflys rating to get ESN scale. Glayzer feels less like ESN50 and more like ESN47.5 for me

thank you very much, this is very useful. That’s what I had in mind but the refresher is much welcome!

Having used rozena for some time I made the switch to glayzer on bh and glayzer09c on fh, and have been using them for 4-5 months now.

Absolutely great rubber when brand new, tons of grip and spin, nothing weird about it.

I always found rozena to be a bit soft for me esp on fh, but it still makes a great bh rubber if you like medium hardness rubbers.
