In case someone is interested, Samsonov is playing with a Mazunov blade with custom handle. I was told by someone who knows someone who knows Samsonov and played with his blade. :)

According to RXNG....

Wang Liqin is using Clipper CL CR no WRB with Hurricane 3 on BOTH sides.
Ma Long still using the DHS blade with Skyline 3 with Tenergy 64.

Sorry I was extremely lazy last night and didn't post pictures. Thank you to Amonteiro for doing it :). Didn't notice the white sponge on the rubber. I posted some pictures awhile back of the original DHS hurricane (not hurricane II or III, but hurricane I) and that had a white sponge, however they may be unrelated. Still waiting for hurricane IX to come out.

@LiXiao and...
Anybody knows why Wang Liqin does not use Hurricane King anymore?  And why does he go back to Clipper?  I think Clipper might be an older generation blade than Hurricane King.  And we're into those new technology blades now but it seems like Wang Liqin is not (maybe he's no longer the top player anymore?).

@FireHorse

 wang liqin never use the WL-king.... before sign with DHS, he used a stiga offensive classic... the stiga clipper is fine for a top player...for example the stiga clipper is faster and more offensive than the dhs ma long's blade...

he is not being very succesful lately with the clipper cr. wlq is ejing too much last years. he didn't find a replacement in the no glue era for him.

i think he played with the hk king when winning the 2nd and 3rd wtttc (first series). then he didn't find replacement for his hk with glue and h2 blue sponge.

best set ups for his style probably were the ludeack power and the rw5. the worst the hk 3.

I'm not sure if the stiga clipper will be the one WLQ looking for because he needs to find a replacement for the speed glued setup that he used to have.  And I think it was Hurricane King blade with Hurricane II rubber on his forehand (with speed glue).

Well, I guess it's up to WLQ to know what he needs but it seems like it's a backward in term of equipment for him.

i guess you're probaly right that he probably will need to use a faster blade than clipper but as I said in the earlier post, it's up to him to decide what's best for him, I guess.

Backward? A heavy Clipper is faster than a Hurricane King or Stiga OC of similar weight.

Well, I don't know if Clipper is faster than Hurricane King or Stiga OC since I never used them but what I mean backward is that Hurricane King and with speed glue H2 or H3 rubbers will be faster than Clipper with non-speed glue rubbers (he might boost but I don't think it will be the same as before).

And this is what I'm talking about the equipment choice that WLQ does, not us.  Clipper is prettly fast enough for us already.
