Was talking to a guy who's very familiar with Palio, and he told me that the Palio CJ8000 biotech is modelled on the Hammond Pro Beta. I have both, although they are both old (but not worn out yet), and decided to try a few shots, interestingly, they ARE indeed very very close - although I slightly prefer the Hammond Pro beta because it was my favourite BH rubber for years... 

Both boost / glue up very well (40/50% increase in spin and 15-20% speed increease) , although they play well without too.
