Will Liu Gaoyang and Lin Gaoyuan play mixed doubles together? Now that would be some tongue-twister!

LOL but from what i've read Liu Gaoyang is also somewhat of a "terror" in her catergory and probably will take top position.

this year she has won 19 of 20 matches all in major junior tournaments. the only loss was by a 3-4 margin.

======================

Doesn't look too good for Lin Gaoyuan, because Fan Zhendong, his team mate, is rated much higher in Ratings Central.

Fan Zhendong:  RC rating 2909, #32.

Lin Gaoyuan:     RC rating 2742, #170.

How they perform at the table that will really count, past rating is only a reference.
Upsets frequently happen.
==================

*** Update: The Ratings Central match history did not indicate that Muramatsu Yuo played Fan Zhengdong in the Asian Junior & Cadet championship (in singles event). (update:  They did play against each other in the TEAM event, and results are not in RC record.)

The earlier post has a video that was found on youtube.
=========================================

Below, has been updated.

In the Asian Junior & Cadet Championship (7-15-2012), Muramatsu Yuto did not play against Fan Zhengdong in singles event, but they did play against one another in the TEAM event.

The Chinese player in the video is Fan Zhengdong.
(Above is the correction of my previous post.)

Doesn't matter. Lin is way underrated at 2750, wonder how he got that low, and has many years experience at this tournament which is the biggest stage for u18.

Yuto is more like the 6th or 7th seed.
==========================

3 of the 4 Chinese players (Fan Zhendong, Fan Shengpeng and Lin Gaoyuan) have beaten Yuto before.  Xu Chenhao has never played Yuto.

Yuto plays like Joo Sae Hyuk but not as good as Joo.

Update (correction):  Xu Chenhao actual has played Yuto in the Chinese Second League (6/2/2012).  Xu Chenhao lost to Muramatsu Yuto.

Gauzy, Flore, and his countrymen Machi and Yoshida are probably all 50-50 with Yuto as well. Always exciting to see a chopper but I think he will run into a Chinese or maybe someone else somewhere around the QF. Probably gonna be yet another all chinese final, last years upsets were outrageous, but who knows what will happen now

First matches on itTV (starting shortly) should be:
table 1: boys US - Czech Republic
table 2: girls Puerto Rico - Chinese Taipei

This is stage 1 of the team event: groups of 3, only the group winner advances to the main draw. Top 8 seeds have been placed directly into stage 2 (including USA girls).

No idea what's going on.
Transmission lost, but when came back - players just walking around but no playing.
