Hello friends,

I found  something interesting today during watching some clips in you tube and decided to share with you all -

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rccLQ0NxyV0
The knees of this man Marc Seidler are near to the table's edges... Shocked
I have never seen so high table tennis player. Do you know another one like him?
I suppose he is around 2.05m ...
Here in Bulgaria we have some players around 1,90m-1.92m, but not and so high like this man from Germany. Big smile

Steffen Mengel is listed as 1.95m (6'4"), and Alexander Shibaev (RUS) and Omar Assar (EGY) are both listed as 1.94m tall (6'4"). To my knowledge these are the tallest current Pro Tour players.

In contrast, Koki Niwa (JPN) is only 1.62m (5'3") tall and weighs 51kg (112lbs).

Have you seen Yao Ming play TT?  He is not that good but I think he can improve a lot if LGL spends time training him.

Fernando Martin, former&first NBA player of NY Nicks from Spain also played TT in the top spanish league but he decided to keep going on basket instead of TT. Unfortunately he died on a car accident during a trip. He was 2.05 mts

I know that guy. It looks like that video was from 2012. That was the year I started playing table tennis. I think my rating at the time was about 1075. lol At the time, I thought he was really high level. Heck, at that time, I was just dreaming of 1500. LOL

I just checked his Jeanne-Marie's rating. It looks like hes almost at 2000. I'm looking forward to playing all of those guys next time I'm in Florida. :)
Current Setup:
Sittiho Hinoki ALC, T80(max), Baracuda(max)
Official USATT Rating 1815
Current estimated level: Bad Day ~ 1900 Good Day ~ 2100 (In Asia since 2015, no USATT events here)

A number of videos featuring this table tennis player from the Netherlands (Arnoud Hofman) were posted by a Dutch member a while ago.
Here is one of them:

My guess is that he is over 2.00 m tall.

Medardas Stankevicius from Lithuania is ~1.98m or 6'2 and he is only 18 years old. So still there are some chances to reach 2m I guess :)
He was 1.96m when he was 15 years old.

Currently his world ranking is 392. He also participated in youth Olympic games in Buenos Aires in 2018
