morrisondarren239 is a scammer. He does not just work his scams on table tennis forums.

Likely scammer who goes by Carlos, with the email [email protected] "Carlos" has a weird paypal email [email protected] that links to someone named Jingjing Xu.
Carlos or Mr. Xu is not a member here. AFAIK but seems to have a connection to a new member here who goes by morrisondarren239 (who is on my radar).

If someone with a Greek address contacts you about a blade, especially any Btfly blade, and is a new member here and cannot send you a legitimate photo of a blade --- a real photo-- not a link to eBay, BE VERY CAUTIOUS!!! Ask for a photo of the blade with a piece of paper with your name on it. Don't get scammed.

Avoid dealing with Erik Zegermacher or Tomas Cicko. They seem to be club mates. Perhaps they form a scamming team. Tomas Cicko scammed (and tried to scam) people in Germany (both on a german forum and on ebay-kleinanzeigen). The bait for a trade was almost always a Timo Boll Spirit (Black Tag). Zegermacher has already been mentioned on this thread in March of 2018.
Zegemacher has used the names "Riky", "Erik" and "Petra". He has used the following IP addresses on table tennis forums. 193.165.237.48 193.165.72.3 178.255.168.33 193.165.236.9 The e-mail address he uses is: [email protected] (when he is "Erik") and [email protected] when he is "Riky". I now know that Juan Manuel Calderón Aldana of Lima Peru has scammed at least three members in recent months. It is true that he had successful transactions here earlier but something has changed. He has broken off all communications with everyone who tries to find a solution, including the people he has scammed. He is now banned permanently. He may still try to sell on Facebook or other forums. Don't deal with him, you will lose your money.

OK, I am not entirely sure what is going on, but for now I would recommend not dealing with juanma4080 -- at least not until I get clarification and explanations on him about some issues that have come up. This member lives in Lima, Peru. He has had a couple of deals go bad now and does not respond to my attempts to communicate to get clarification. Edit added. Another member had a problem also. Is he a scammer or is he just really non-responsive and maybe shipping from Lima Peru to other places is intrinsically problematic? I don't know for sure. Right now, though, I am not confident that any deal you make with him will go well. I know his name and address but will not post it yet because I'm not 100% certain exactly what is going on. Edit. Guy's name is Juan Manuel Calderón Aldana. He lives in Lima Peru. Two members have had transactions go very badly and have lostbexpensive blades. He has stopped responding to messages from the two members or to my attempts to contact him. I try to make allowances for Covid-19, (Peru has been very much disrupted). He said hes from scotland when im chatting with him. i asked if he has contact number he said he lost his phone and no land line and no facebook. i asked if he knows some of my scotish friend he said he doesnt know. after i got my refund he has not replied to any of my messages. i can send you pictures of our chats mate but it doesnt matter now.

He was pressuring me to pay paypal friends and family, he said he has good reviews table tennis daily. even sent me a link. i tried to ask for his contact number even land line he said he dont have mobile phone and land line. Luckily i paid additional fee not friends and family. Got the money back yesterday.

I know when you don't pay friends/family, paypal adds an additional fee for the seller. I think it's like 4-5%. Did you pay him the extra?

Just an alert. PingpongSam after all our messages he keep insisting for me to pay PayPal Frieda agreed €500 for price I did not pay friends and family but goods and services. After payment he wants to cancel the trasaction. A bit dodgy. Baal you can look at our chats on my PM.

The very first post of sidespinBH on that thread you recently locked also appeared on a german forum (same blades, same prices etc.). There he claims to be a 26 yo from Germany. Now, it would be quite dubious for a German to post in english on a (german) forum that is mainly frequented by german speaking people and where 99,9999 % of the posts are written in German. Don't know if he is a "legit"scammer, but it's very dubious to say the least.

Andrei was not banned for the classic scam, but for unreasonable selling practices that were not consistent with the spirit of this website, but also if you search for him you find he has a pretty bad history on forums devoted to some of his other interests where he buys and sells stuff.
