I don't think they have any hinoki layers, but do have willow layers which is unique to a few defensive blades.
The Darker 7P-2A.DF is a Darker defensive blade with Hinoki layers. This blade is like a slightly softer, slower & higher control version of the Butterfly Joo SeaHyuk blade, with virtually identical dimensions.

Sorry to bring back old thread, I can't find information on this blade and it seems very unique.

Is this really a good blade for chopping or defense? It's very thin and flex no? So maybe you can apply more spin but shouldn't it still have trouble receiving stronger loops even if not just passive blocking?

Also, will it not lack a lot of power to return ball from mid-far?

EDIT - Oh, just realized I was looking at the weights for P1, not D1. Notable difference, ~15-17g. Wonder how much from just handle.
EDIT2 - Answered my last edit, largely from size of blade diff, P1 is defender size, D1 is not.
