Look at the ridiculous angle between the lumbar (fixed properly) and the thoracic spine in the pic above

This would be invaluable for looping underspin and other low balls in a healthy way without dropping the shoulders to induce lumbar bending...

It also explains the infamous Harimoto backbend celebration, it's a celebration of thoracic mobility lolololol LOLLOLLOL

Figured out how to do that, if you brace your core without using air it's not too bad. It's the same principle, brace core and then try to bend! So you can bend + rotate quite a bit at the chest. I can bend 45 20 deg and rotate 45 deg just at the thoracic area, it's so exciting rediscovering mobility in the body!

Edit: I think it's not 45 deg bending but only 10-20 bending, rotation is a lot easier.... I was actually bending more from the hips

This is quite interesting. And from what I've seen players avoid
Harimoto's opening loop.
Right hand: Stiga Allround NCT (74g) /Rasant Grip max/Talon OX red (total 135g)
Left hand: Stiga Allround WRB (71g)/Vega Europe max/Innova Ultra Light max (total 153g)
