In my opinion this is the best short pips rubber for a penholder with inverted RPB.
It may not be tensioned or superfast like Rakza PO but gives much more control on blocks and counters. I used it for many years before going to shakehand style.

I've never played 802-40 mystery sponge, but I can vouch for 802-40 as one of the best backhand short pimple rubbers out there. But, I played it on the standard sponge TT11 carries and also custom sponge from ColesTT. Its a do everything rubber. Enough spin for serving, but still offering the benefits of short pimple rubber. Also, its one of the few short pimple rubbers that you can make a heavy push with against incoming backspin. In addition, you can hit hard and fast with tons of control. As they mentioned in the video, I also agree, 1.5mm sponge works best with 802-40. If I were playing short pimple on backhand, I'd be playing 802-40 on custom sponge from ColesTT or Spin Pips Blue.
