there are NO major events scheduled in Canada NONE, ZERO, ZILCH, big fat 8, big fat 0
"start the funeral service" it's going to be a dry and boring next 3ish years for TT fans in Canada...

Congratulations Rockford for hosting The North American Junior Cadet Open 2020.

I am sure there will be a memo saying, "blame it on an Olympic year"  right guppies will suck it up.

Thank you members council of ttcanada for bringing this TT drought to Canada, i truly hope all the promises you got come true...really i do.

Tom...

ITTF Executive Committee:

During the period of his suspension, Mr Sharara may not participate in any capacity in a competition or activity organised by either the ITTF or any ITTF Member Federation. The suspension also applies to any international/national competition or event authorised by the ITTF or any elite or national-level sporting activity funded by the ITTF.

The good thing is they didn't outright kick Canada out of the federation...that's another discussion on it's own *lol*

they only lost the racket in the headstone...who knows they might just lose it all later on...the ones who lost the most are the players...who were NOT given a say in the matter...none at all.

all Canadians who believe in TT should use this as their signature from here on.. all Americans who want to stand with their fellow athletes should use this as their signature.

Yes there is (for now) I posted the particulars. It is an ITTF event handled by the ITTF not ttcanada. Check the prospectus.

If it were to be handled by ttcanada, NO ONE would show up as they too would be participating in breaking the rules set out by the ITTF committee as stated  in the terms of the suspension.

I should though say " no major events by ttcanada", 🤪

I don't even see a National event, they will probably plan one now all said😁

There are no accountabilities or transparency just what he says 👍🤪🤔😆🤗🤪😜

Previous management had plans posted 2 years in advance...this one we're guessing daily.

We are ripe for a TTX take over...table tennis will be played in the USA and TTX will be played in Canada 🤗

this is not clear for me.  He cannot participate but does it mean CTTA cannot  organize a competition?

I don't understand why not if Adham himself does not "participate in any capacity in a competition or activity organised by either the ITTF or any ITTF Member Federation"... just as Anne Cribbs, USATT chair of the board of directors, is not involved in any of USATT's tournaments.

Is Anne cribbs under suspension by the ITTF?

What are the responsibilities as President of ttcanada?

you will find your answers there.

ttcanada and USATT have different by-laws...apparently the "new" ttcanada has changed the by-laws to suit their new structure...something only a few had a hand it without consulting the membership.

Trying to access the by-laws from ttcanada's website gives me a server error.  Oh well.  You guys have your problems.  We've got ours.

"• Adham indicated that the new Governance structure had to be reviewed in its entirety. He believes that the current structure is not conducive to positive relations between the MC and BoD. A future cooperative model will be explored, developed and presented as the main change to the new Bylaws."

excerpt from...let's see how long this stays public.
