Expedite system started in the middle of the first game - because it took too long to play just one point.
(When the first game reached 7-5, the expedite system started - took a long long time to play those 12 points.)

What is the rule for expedite system?

The server needs to finish it in 10 rallies, or he/she loses?

Expedite system:

If the receiving player makes 13 correct returns in a rally, the point is awarded to the receiver.

Wow, All-Japanese final for girls singles! I believe that's never happened before at a WJC.

Moregard Truls reached final, and will play #1 seed Xiang Peng.
Who is going to win this event?  We will know soon.

Disappointing performance from Moregard in the final. What is it with players who are better than XP (Moregard, Uda and a few others) that they keep losing to him?

Uda, Moregard and Togami have beaten players that would beat XP easily.

Xiang Peng lost badly to Uda Yukiya in the teams event, and was 3-2 against Togami in the team event also, not to mention having a bad performance against a German player and losing in doubles to Uda and Kihara. All games against Togami were decided by a margin of 2 points, so it's pretty much 50/50, and he will likely lose to Uda 3 times out of 4 based on their current levels. There's nothing super impressive about him especially compared to other past top Chinese juniors.

bruh does my writing style look the same as Jackwong's or the other guy above? OK, Boomer, thanks for literally proving my point that you call everyone you don't like an alt of this other guy who spends the rest of his wretched, wasted life on these forums far too much, whom you have an unhealthy fixation towards.

Also it's 4:30am in the UK, go to bed foo

He is only 16.  The others were significantly older as WTTC except Fan and the other greats.  He is in good shape.

Xiang Peng nearly defeated Zhang Jike (sure, he was in decline but he was still a senior CNT player and still could easily wipe players like Bastian Steiger out) back in 2017 as a 14 year old. And this way of describing potential matchups as rock/paper/scissors type confrontations is like comic book manchildren sperging out over goku vs superman or some nerd shit like that, in that we're not supercomputers (it's not like we have behind the scenes data of how XP or Yukiya more have potentially discovered weaknesses in how they play against each other or can't play more maturely in the next game). Like how can anyone here be so confident with these kind of assessments, which are clearly pulled out of asses.

>There's nothing super impressive about him especially compared to other past top Chinese juniors.

winning the WJTTC is still impressive even if he ends up flaming out and becoming a Liu Dingshuo tier player
