I believe they are making the new custom DAH (Dynamically Angled Handle) blades.  The unique angled handle allows the Fh to be played much farther back in the stance giving you more time to react to the ball.  The Bh can be played without even taking a backswing since the blade is already angled correctly in the ready position.  Both of these make it easier to play the fast close to table style that is so effective with the new ball.

I figured mjamja had been up to serving practice again...(his blade is some kind of numbered one)...also he is so talented he does not need a hammer-just a table.

Just a theory:

Quality control discarded those blades for any reason (uneven thickness of a ply?) and they keep a list of their serial numbers. The blades are then passed on to another team where they document the destruction. Management can do random testing on a limited list of serial numbers every once in a while and order the destroyers to prove from backup that they did the job. They won't need to verify everything that way.

Hi,

Do dhs national blades like W968 have the best quality of materials in the world? What justifies their insane price? Moreover, how do quality materials affect playing characteristics!

If this was DHS quality control staff, how come they are using such flimsy methods to discard the blades? two boxes on the floor on top of a cardboard piece and a 5$ hammer? is this amateur hour?

Really? I mean I have a national W968 it’s less stiff and more feeling than long 5 blade that I have and much more powerful away from the table. Moreover, head size is bigger. Why could that be?

I want a spare blade very similar to W968. But don’t wanna spend so much again. Any idea which one will be most similar?

The title of the video Google Translated is "For the value of Jang Woo Jin Blade" and you can see JWJ's photo under the handle at 0:14.  This looks like tak.9's official Youtube channel and the comments are disabled (not the case in their other videos).  So obviously, they know people are or will be ticked off by the video.

I am curious at their use of the word "value".  Are they saying they received fake JWJ W968 from DHS and they are destroying them to preserve the value of the real ones? It does look like tak9 carries them.
Also, wasn't there a thread here (but first let me make it clear I DO NOT KNOW OR PRETEND TO KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT DHS!!!) that said W968 is laser engraving and skinnier? So maybe the ones being destroyed are fakes? Surprised the DHS "experts" have not chimed in.  Yes, I put experts in quotes because they don't seem to agree on stuff LOL!
