My previous setup  is : Hurricane Provincial Neo Blue (FH) + MXP max (BH).
I start switching to nontacky rubber MXP for FH and try to improve my attack consistency.
So far it works well. Now I want to upgrade FH to either MX-P 50 or MXS. Which one is better?
Btw, I tried my friend's MXP50 in BH and really like it.
Thanks.

Mxp 50 is soo much better in terms of everything. Even the durability and shrinkage. I switched to mxp 50 and rasanter r53. Best rubbers I've used in a long time for forehand. Hated boosted and regluing my h3 neo nationals. I'm not an Olympian I don't have that career style oriented drive to go through that hassle everytime. I found rubbers that I can slap on and still play close if not better. I wouldn't use mxs anymore at least for me. It's very demanding and very blade dependent

Better for what? Is a Mercedes C-class or a BMW 3-series better? Depends on who you ask and what you want...

Forget trying to get a blade/rubber to 'improve' whatever parts of your game. The only criteria to use when considering purchase is whether you will enjoy playing with said blade/rubber. That enjoyment maybe temporary, but so what. Just live life 11 points at a time. The rest will follow.
Having said that, in my small TT world,  most players (even choppers) having tried the harder version of their rubbers on FH are sticking to that combination. Same with me.

And MX-S was designed as backhand rubber?

mXS is good if you spin like using Hurricane 3.
