Friendship 729 FX comes in 2.2mm, 2.0mm, 1.8mm, 1.5mm and 1.0mm, and this is one of the most common Chinese rubbers. It's a tradition style Chinese rubber with a hard sponge and sicky topsheet. Great for spin and control, but not very fast.

Can you or someone else explain if 999 is still legal ? I heard some versions of 999 are no longer legal while some other versions are legal.

I like 999 but don't want to buy it & go to a tournament and have an umpire who does not know the LARC or just wants to be a pain for no reason, to harass me
Just check the LARC on ITTF website to see which rubbers are still legal. Globe brand 999 and 999T are still on there

I don't really know about those rubbers. The palio gp3 isn't as soft as it used to be. I have some Avalox 30 that's faster
