it might be getting cancelled soon

as per Quebec Premier,

"During his daily news conference, Legault said while CEGEPs and universities will be able to resume classes online by March 30, it is "unlikely" children will be back in the province's schools by that date.

The new target resumption date is some time at the beginning of May, he said."

if the schools are to remain closed, there is no way anyone is getting in to play TT

The extension is till March 29th but compared to other provinces and globally...the reality will be months. They've already admitted test kits are not adequate so there are many people out there unknowingly carrying it but haven't yet fell ill but highly contagious... that's the frightening reality and they don't have to be in contact with you...they just have to touch something that you'll be touching. Scary

Yes, the virus can be transmitted through object but smooth surfaces aren't very hospitable to bacteria and viruses. Yes, if an object is handed directly to you it can transfer the virus but if left alone for a period of time (I'm not sure if it's minutes or hours) the item will likely be safe to handle.

I'm sorry if that is what you think i am doing when i am just quoting from sources. "They did say resumption of school might be in May, if at all"

ATP and WTA has postponed their restart till June/July, IOC is now rethinking postponing the games after the other Athletic Organizations have strongly suggested a postponement...when the numbers are saying beware do you think it's "panic"?

A TT event is not held in a bubble it is not just tables, balls and rackets there are many other touch points to be considered.

Posting on regular basis about closing tournaments, schools etc .. doesnt help to somebody health. People boring at home and copy past everything they find about virus on forums and different watsapp groups. Its just help to spread panic

Charlie Brown's postings are very helpful. For example, just 2 weeks ago, I was wondering if table tennis clubs in GTA and their respective tournaments were being closed/cancelled.

There are many people who do not mind finding out what's going on in other provinces besides Ontario.  We may have relatives/friends who may be affected.
