I think there might be some threads about this topic already. But it is fun to talk about it again, as TT is becoming more and more similar to tennis.

I think overall, tennis focus more on speed and TT on spin and speed, so the approach is different. But there are something similar for the techniques. Any input?

The author of this video talked about delaying hitting the ball with bent wrist. I think it applies to TT somehow. Also he mentioned to hold the paddle tight while turn your waist.. and using the body to brush the ball instead of by wrist....

Always thought players like Xu Xin and Wang Liqin could have played some decent tennis with their long flowing strokes...

All bat and ball players can usually switch between the various racket sports quite easily. Their biggest limitation is motivation.
In fact there's an association that combines the racket sports called rackleton.
