how does he define rituals? Isn’t doing a certain routine before matches also a ritual? He does a few push ups beforehand every match. I’d consider that a ritual.

I did not understand this post topic , not because of language but lot of times it is not the language translation but it is the cultural translation that confuses anyone. For example, something that is normal in one culture may be offensive in another culture. Such as when Trump says something, lot of people get offended in other countries.....oops wait a minute that is most Americans that get offended (even most of those who voted Republican). Never mind bad example. So mean of me to kick the man when he is down. My bad..that job belongs to politicians who flip flop the way the wind blows.
