Hi,

You haven't mentioned much about your game .. Sorry, but good with back hand just sounds vague. I'm good with my back-hand, but with blocking and chopping with Long pips..  Some of our fellow forum members too are good at Back-hand, but at hitting.. some with looping, etc etc..

If you can share some more about your style of play, then we could give you better/more accurate recommendations .

hey Ahmed,

What are you playing with now? And what are the shortcoming of your current set up?

Lots of EJs here w. good advice, but we need a BASE or STARTING point as to what you’re looking for... or it will be lots and lots of $$$ down the drain.
I am a total Newb. Come at me!

what I like about the clipper is it can be the one and only blade of any player of any level.

My current favorite 7-ply blade (short pips backhand) is:
Delivery to the USA is 2-3 weeks.
Great quality.
I tried several other Yinhe blades but this is the one I am using right now due to very good control close to the table.
Yinhe 980XX, DHS Hurricane 3 Neo, Nittaku Wallest 1.0mm sponge.

You've mentioned Clipper, which is a 7-ply blade, and you have also mentioned Hadraw VK, which, if I'm not mistaken is a 5-ply blade

7-ply options I'd recommend are - Clipper (CR), HRT Clipper (Clone), Sanwei Fextra, DHS PG-7

5-ply options I'd recommend are - BTY Pertr Korbel, Tibhar, Stratus Powerwood, Yasaka Ma Lin Extra Offensive.

I strongly agree on this.

IMHO, there are only 2 offensive all-wood blades that I consider neutral (means good for everything, but excellent at none):  Butterfly Korbel and Stiga Clipper Wood (non-CR, non-WRB).

Many blades from different manufacturers are based on these 2 blades.
Blade : Just wood
FH : black rubber
BH : red rubber
