Yes. ML is qualified after stage 2.

It's essentially a group competition in the multi-elimination format.

Stage 1 determines 16 quota places - winners (reaching R16) of groups a to r (16 groups, 3-4 players each, R64 as the starting round) qualify for WTTC Finals 2023, with finalists of each group (reaching R32) moving on to Stage 2
Stage 2 determines 8 quota places - winners of matches s to z (1 round) qualify for WTTC Finals 2023, with losers of each match moving on to Stage 3
Stage 3 determines 8 quota places - the remaining players keep playing (so called "progressive knock-out") to determine the final places
