Yes, he seems to have the deadliest BH in the video. It's interesting that the majority of the other players have such FH dominant game, I would have thought it's the other way around these days....

Yeah the older game is a lot more FH oriented. I see the same thing these days too (younger players being more BH dominant, older players being more FH dominant). 

For me I'm becoming increasingly BH dominant too, mainly because the BH receive of short serves is way better than FH due to the chiquita and strawberry receive, and you can still do fast pushes/flicks/dropshots like the FH. There's simply no chiquita equivalent for the FH. Against long serves the FH is way stronger but nobody serves long to the FH much anyways, and the pivot FH is often punished hard.

I still really appreciate the skill of whole table FH looping (there's 1 50+ yr old guy at my club who does this at a very high level and it's quite the sight!), I'm trying to train towards that at the moment but the footwork is not easy at all! The funny thing is that I can actually do whole table BH close table fast loop/counter now, but FH I'm already struggling with 2/3 table coverage.
