Sid is 19 now, hardly a junior anymore despite the weird rule change to make juniors = U19 inclusive of people who have already turned 19 at the time of trials and the age group events they subsequently compete in.

Kef Noorani seems to be promising young US players.

Charles Shen from NJ won the event, going undefeated in the 2nd and 3rd stage.

There is also inconsistent layout in Omnipong. U15 boys has only the original RR, and no place for the stage 2 and 3. I know those matches were played, they streamed some of them, but there is no way to follow along, or tell which matches are significant.

It seems they haven't updated the results on omnipong since Monday. I wonder why.

An EJ to a table tennis player is an equipment junkie. An ej to a mathematician is a standard basis vector.

I second Sally Moyland/陳伊依 after WYC 2022, in particular the match against TPE in U19 GT.

Nobody really stands out to me except for Nandan Naresh and Sally Moyland. Verdict is still out though.
A year ago when asked this, Darryl and Daniel got mentions... Daniel's game does not seem much different than it was a year ago. I don't see the next Kanak or Lily emerging any time soon though.

After the 2023 US Junior national trials, do you spot any promising young US players?
