Unless I happen to find a bear or cougar who plays, I am going to be away from TT for almost a month.  Going to have some great kayaking, mountain biking, and hiking in some rather remote areas, but no where to play TT.

Was wondering what you guys would suggest for exercises, footwork drills, or shadow stroking type drills to try to improve my play or at minimum keep it from deteriorating too much.  Thanks for any help you could give.

Professional players practice their serves 1 hour per day, 6-7 days a week. You might not have a table but you can put a towel or bed sheet on the ground and serve into the sheet.  You should be able to hear the spin on the ball.  Try to get as much spin as possible. You can also do footwork drills or physical training alone.  It might not be the best, but it is better than nothing.
