if the young guys keep losing and Ma Long keeps reaching tournament finals then the cnt might have no choice 😁

WYD says she was rather lucky in beating WMY, that she never thought it would be in straight games, that she thought the title was in the bag being up 10:3 in G4 and was in a little panick after losing several points, that her mental state kept fluctuating. She also points out the match that left her the most impression is the one against Polcanova which proved very difficult, that her form got better and better afterward and that tight match helped her a lot in winning the title here.

LYJ says he didn't even dream of winning this title and so is very very happy, that he really and successfully played with the challenger mindset against ML who is a very strong player, and that he played very well in the last 4 games, executing the tactics decently, and the lucky points in tight moments helped him as well. He also expressed that he had made changes in technical and mental aspects that worked to some extent, and that he will keep it up down the road.

比赛结束后，林昀儒在接受采访时直言“非常非常开心，自己真的说实在……做梦也不会想到能拿到这个冠军”，同时总结了自己决赛逆转马龙的三方面原因，表现得非常谦虚。 ... 对此，林昀儒首先夸赞马龙等人是“非常非常强大的对手”，所以自己是“以挑战的心态”参加战斗：但是很显然，想夺冠是不可能光靠心态好就能做到的。 而除了心态方面，林昀儒还谈到了自己能在0-1落后的情况下连扳4局、逆转马龙的两个关键，其一是“战术处理很�£�”，其二则是“关键球有一些幸运球”，这才得以扭转乾坤。

ML says it was a very difficult match against F. Lebrun, that there were many moments he was trailing in the opening, middlegame and endgame of every game despite the 4-1 score, namely he hit a few beautiful defense-counter shots on the crucial points of G1 when he was behind 5-7 and wining that game was very important to winning the match. On the impact of F. Lebrun, ML stresses that age is irrelavant on the court and the fact that he could make the SF of WTT CS and being top 10 in world ranking prove that he is very capable and does not merely rely on youth and momentum.

“今天开局的时候打得还是有些拘谨和小心，试探性更多了一些，”赛后总结时王曼昱表示，在首局3-8落后的时候只想着一分分去打，而第一局能够逆转取胜对于整个比赛的走势来说很重要，“第二局打得比较顺利，第三局开局有些小受伤，对比赛稍稍有些影响，但过后还是能够专注在比赛中。”谈及第三局出现的伤情，王曼昱透露当时自己在击球过程中有点扭到左膝，“在打的过程中多多少少会受到一点影响，但这也是我们平时会遇到的情况。无论在训练还是比赛中，这也是家常便饭的事情。如何能够在受伤过程中赢下比赛，这也是对自己的一个挑战，”王曼昱强调指出。 当被问及第五局是如何在7平后连得四分锁定胜利时王曼昱表示，当时自己并没有去想比分如何，“我在场上一直在考虑怎么发接、怎么布置和执行战术。应该说相对于前两天，今天整个人还是更加专注，心态也更为平稳。”

“今天整场比赛打得都非常胶着，我之前和申�£�斌交手过多次，感觉她今天技战术改变了很多，整体发挥也比前几次要好很多，”赛后接受采访时孙颖莎说，她表示赛前自己做了很充分的困难准备，所有首局落败并没有让她太过慌乱，“�£一局自己是在落后局面下追到10平后输的，很�£常”。 孙颖莎坦言，在前两局自己对于节奏的把控并不是非常理想，一直到拿下第二局进入三、四局之后才慢慢踩上了点。 �£如孙颖莎所言，今天的比赛始终比较胶着。在前两局双方战成1平后，她在关键的第三局一度7-10落后，不利局面下孙颖莎没有轻言放弃，连追三分抹平分差并最终以13-11赢下这一局，“关键是我在比赛中始终专注在每一分上，也相信自己是有机会把比分追回来，所以始终没有乱，”复盘比赛时孙颖莎强调指出。

LYJ is pushing more frequently on the BH receive instead of flipping everything--which is smart and trips up his opponents when they sometimes almost always expect the flip...but I wonder...is this on purpose or due to his wrist injury? He still looked quite bandaged up. Regardless, the threat of his BH flip and then the variation with BH push is so threatening... Ma Long was waiting for the BH flip numerous times and then the BH push came. Then in the rally, young gun LYJ out-gunned with 2-wing looping, Ma Long BH looked very one dimensional in comparison and needed to rely on the tried&true FH+footwork but with his age and the new meta, it seems like his days are numbered. As a diehard Ma Long fan though, I do want to say LYJ did get a lot of lucky points in that final set. Great match nonetheless.

After watching many of the recent tournaments, excluding the China National Team players, I am wondering how many of the top players were trained in China and/or by coaches trained in China.
